Thai Occupation of Kedah, 1943 (Dec) Japanese Occupation of Malaya 4c postal stationery card, Kulim to Alor Star, recorded the use of this CDS for only 10 weeks from Oct 1943 to Dec 1943. Addressed to GPO at Alor Star. A rare use of the Japanese Occupation postal stationery card after the turnover to Thailand and only such usage in this collection. By January 15, 1944, the Thai Occupation of Malaya postal stationery cards were prepared and put in use. By the way, the old name for Jalan Pegawai Kulim, is Jalan Merah.
